Procurement - national collaborative: service enhancement plan March 2025

This plan sets out the vision to improve end-to-end customer service to increase usage of current procurement frameworks and deliver even more savings, as well as identifying areas of potential growth.


Organisation Design and Continuous Improvement

Our service delivery model and organisational structure will be realigned to support delivery of our vision and ambition. We adopt a quality management and performance improvement approach to the design of services, informed by the European Framework for Quality Management (EFQM and the Procurement and Commercial Improvement Programme (PCIP)). This will also support the development of our approach to continuous improvement and the future development of new services. We will:

  • Review our portfolio to inform where our financial resources and staff are deployed
  • Finalise the development of our service delivery blueprint, embedding quality management approaches in its design
  • Engage with our staff and plan for implementation of the new services and structure
  • Ensure appropriate role development and training before final implementation
  • Implement a culture of continuous improvement
