Procurement - national collaborative: service enhancement plan March 2025
This plan sets out the vision to improve end-to-end customer service to increase usage of current procurement frameworks and deliver even more savings, as well as identifying areas of potential growth.
Enhanced collaborative approach to framework design
It will be critical for us to ensure that our frameworks are attractive to as many public sector customers as possible to capitalise on the economic opportunities afforded by our collective buying power. At the same time, these frameworks must also satisfy social policy requirements at a local level.
In order to achieve alignment of these aims, we believe that greater collaboration at each stage of the framework design & relet process is required, coupled with dedicated customer support to advise on framework use locally. We will:
- Review our suite of Category A frameworks and other commercial agreements to ensure best fit, ease of access and ease of use for customers
- Review User Intelligence Group strategy and terms of reference to ensure that we are working with the right people at the right time
- Improve engagement throughout the design process for early interaction with customers, appropriate subject matter/decision-making representation at the right time and active consultation
- Improve policy guidance
