Tackling Child Poverty and Social Justice Directorate

The Directorate takes forward the national mission to eradicate child poverty, and promote social justice across Scotland.

With four divisions across three offices, the directorate is responsible for:

working to eradicate child poverty, and tackle inequalities across Scotland
implementing a place-based approach to child poverty
providing analytical advice and evidence to support housing, poverty, social security and equalities policy
creating an enabling environment for the third sector through regulation, policy and strategic investment
