Procurement - national collaborative: service enhancement plan March 2025
This plan sets out the vision to improve end-to-end customer service to increase usage of current procurement frameworks and deliver even more savings, as well as identifying areas of potential growth.
Improved communications & collaborative working
Strengthening our approach to communications and engagement at a strategic and operational level will be an immediate priority for us. We aim to provide greater clarity and consistency in the promotion of our services and provide clear routes and opportunities for customers to engage with us. To support this work we will:
- Develop clear branding of the NCPD, its services and contact points
- Develop a comprehensive Communications & Engagement Strategy which aligns strategic and operational messaging to support clear two-way engagement directly with customers
- Review and update existing mailing lists, ensuring regular maintenance
- Explore opportunities for system generated notifications & alerts to guarantee that messaging can be universally communicated to intended audiences
- Develop and implement a programme of strategic engagement which will complement customer engagement at an operational level
