Procurement - national collaborative: service enhancement plan March 2025

This plan sets out the vision to improve end-to-end customer service to increase usage of current procurement frameworks and deliver even more savings, as well as identifying areas of potential growth.


Implementing our plans

Our plans for enhancement will be delivered through two connected programmes of work:

  • Strengthening the Collaborative Procurement Ecosystem To examine how we can collectively maximise VFM (Value for Money) from collaborative procurement
  • NCPD Service Enhancement
  • To enhance the NCPD service delivery model and deliver a suite of improvements to services, systems and processes, focused on driving greater VFM, as prioritised by internal requirements and external customers

A Programme Team will be established and the Team will be supported by a Service Enhancement User Intelligence Group (UIG), with representation from our public sector customer base. The UIG will ensure that the suite of change recommendations and improvements meet customer requirements.

A full programme of communications and engagement activities with customers, staff and stakeholders will support introduction of the planned changes.
