Animal Diseases
Description
Funding for statutory disease control activities, including operational delivery of notifiable disease response, compensation for culled livestock, and livestock identification and movement systems.
Purpose
To protect animal and public health by enabling effective detection, control and eradication of notifiable diseases, maintaining essential livestock traceability, and safeguarding Scotland’s ability to trade animals and animal products.
Recipient
External delivery partners providing statutory animal health functions and livestock keepers eligible for statutory compensation.
