Description
Funding to subsidise veterinary visits for crofters and small farmers in remote areas.
Purpose
To ensure accessible and affordable veterinary cover for crofters and small farmers in remote communities, supporting animal health, maintaining viable rural veterinary services, and enabling early identification of animal disease risks.
Budget
£765,000
Recipient
Veterinary practices participating in the Highlands & Islands Veterinary Services Scheme (HIVSS).
