Rural Cohesion
Description
The Rural Cohesion budget aims to improve the socio-economic position of rural and island areas. It funds a mix of research, piloting and activities that add value but would be otherwise unfunded. In recent years this has included e.g. funding to assist in addressing rural depopulation, to improve access to rural and islands data, and a range of piloting / testing of new approaches to rural policy
Purpose
To support projects aiming to improve socio-economic outcomes in rural and island areas.
