Sea Eagles - Research
Description
Yearly funding for a project to investigate sea eagle predation on lambs at Drissaig Farm.
Purpose
The project will help the Scottish Government better understand:
1) When, where and why lamb losses are occurring in the hill flocks at Drissaig;
2) Whether visual deterrents can help reduce the level of lamb losses at Drissaig.
We are hopeful the results can help us understand, and potentially address, the increasing issue of sea eagle predation of lambs across Scotland.
