The Rural Support Plan as required in terms of s2 of the Agriculture and Rural Communities (Scotland) Act 2024 outlining the expected use by Scottish Ministers during the plan period of the powers conferred on them by s6 of the Act - support within the four tier framework

This document outlines support available within the four-tier framework.
- Links are provided, where appropriate, to full guidance for the scheme available on Scottish Government’s Rural Payments and Services website; Information on schemes in the Rural Support Plan is intended as an overview only and applicants should refer to scheme guidance for full terms and conditions.
- Schemes remain operational unless and until the Plan is amended
- The initial Rural Support Plan reflects what is currently available through legacy CAP support, the Scottish Rural Development Programme (SRDP) and other existing support, mapped into the new four-tier framework.
- Links are provided to other support information where appropriate.
- Relevant related support that is provided within the broader Rural Affairs and Islands portfolio but not considered within the four-tier framework is noted under “Outwith Tier Support”. This list is not exhaustive.
