Introduction

This publication presents data for land area farmed organically, crop areas, livestock numbers, and numbers of organic producers and processors in Scotland from 2018 to 2024. This is the first organic farming publication for Scotland since the 2017 results were published in 2018.  

Data are held by eight approved organic control bodies and are sent to DEFRA who produce UK-wide statistics annually. This publication presents more detailed statistics for Scotland and figures are rounded.
