Health and Social Care

We will improve health and access to quality social care across our islands by:

  • Making health care accessible. Having better transport links, increasing home based care and use of digital services to help islanders access treatment closer to their homes.
  • Having services that work for islanders. Focus on avoiding ill health and offering early help.
  • Supporting local people and staff. Training and keeping more health workers locally, improving dental and mental health support.
