National Islands Plan 2026: easy read
Easy read version for the new National Islands Plan. Under an overarching population retention and attraction objective, it provides a programme of actions to address challenges and opportunities facing Scotland's islands.
Measuring the Success of the Plan
We will promote a survey and collect data to understand whether the Plan is working.
Annual Reports on the things we have done after publishing the Plan will be completed by the Scottish Government and given to the Scottish Parliament.
The Scottish Government will keep working with island communities to allow islanders to give their thoughts and feedback on the Plan.
