Notes:

The text given in the question has been abbreviated here. The full wording of the options given is:

Model effective practice in working with children to support their learning
Curriculum development and implementation
Use assessment information to plan learning for individual children
Identify children with Additional Support Needs and plan their learning
Work directly with children with Additional Support Needs
Input on management and leadership
Staff development and training
Support children's transitions into pre-school education and into primary school

Figures have been presented as a percentage of centres with teachers. Where possible, information used in 2009 has been carried forward for those centres who did not complete a full census form in 2010.

Figures are possibly a slight undercount as some centres may never have answered this question (in 2008, 2009 or 2010) so we do not know whether their teachers do any of the above.
