Property Data Standard for InSite
This standard sets mandatory requirements for managing property and land data in InSite, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and transparency. It supports collaboration and strategic planning through common data governance and validation for organisations subject to SPFM.
6. Data Assurance and Validation
Organisations will be required to comply with an annual validation of their data led by PCD. The data validation exercise will ensure data is accurate, complete, consistent and adheres to this standard. This will result in reduced errors and increased trust in the data held within InSite.
This exercise will focus on the data fields defined within the Mandatory Data Set.
The annual validation exercise is a new and developing process with full scope, roles and responsibilities and methodology to be confirmed in full guidance to follow. Organisations should expect the annual validation exercise to take place in July / August of each year with assurance to be given by CEO signature.
