Future plans

The Scottish Government plans to publish a national equality strategy for women and girls that:

• sets out:
  • the work we want to achieve now and in the future
  • when the work will be done by
• will help guide how decisions are made across Scotland in the future

It is being developed with help from the Advisory Council, the Empowering Women Panel, and women and girls across the country.

The Scottish Government will check progress in an honest and open way so people can see:

• what is improving
• what still needs work
• and where more work is needed
