This reflections report showcases what the Single Scottish Estate has achieved in its first two years of delivery, highlighting successes of the programme.

10. Forward Look

While we have made great progress, as can be seen from this document, there is still much to be done. The following provides some of our future priorities:

  • Increased stakeholder engagement, including with the SSE SRO, and newsletter to keep everyone informed of progress.
  • Continue to focus on improving the property data held on our system, with ongoing accuracy of data and its analysis.
  • Progress current Location Based Review work through to decisions, including for Edinburgh, Perth and Inverness, and plan for next ones.
  • Progress Phase 2 of Glasgow Office Project through to planning decisions.
  • Develop a Location Based Review toolkit to allow any stakeholder to progress a project that is consistent with the SSE approach.
  • Increasing engagement and communication activities, with wider collaboration across the public sector.
  • A further gateway review to consider progress and refine improvements.
  • Next iterations of Programme Impact Assessments.
