Equality evidence strategy 2023 to 2025: consultation paper - easy read
We are consulting on a plan to get better facts, figures and information about equality. The answers will help us improve our plan to have better equality evidence. The plan will be used to develop Scotland’s new equality evidence strategy from 2023 to 2025. The deadline for this consultation has now been extended. This consultation is open from 1 July to 7 October.
Housing and homelessness
Action 17 - homelessness data collections
By 2025 work will have happened to collect data on homelessness.
Agreement will be reached with the organisations that give us data on the changes that need to be made.
Action 18 - Census 2022 equality results on housing
In 2023 the Scottish Government's housing team will work with the National Records of Scotland to decide which housing and equality information to publish from the Census.
They will decide what extra analysis is needed and how we will do this.
In 2024 they will carry out the analysis of the Census equality and housing data.
