Figure 18: The Barra Fan and Hebrides Terrace Seamount MPA. Vertical hatching indicates areas closed to demersal mobile gear; diagonal hatching indicates areas closed to demersal mobile and demersal static gear.
This maps shows The Barra Fan and Hebrides Terrace Seamount MPA. It includes offshore deep sea muds, sands, burrowed mud, and seamount communities. The vertical hatched area prohibits demersal mobile gear; diagonal hatched area prohibits all demersal gear. An inset map shows the site location to the west of Scotland.
