This partial business and regulatory impact assessment (BRIA) aims to identify the benefits and impact of the proposed designations and de-designations on affected groups in Scotland.
11. Legal Aid
It is not envisaged that there will be any greater demands placed on the legal system by these proposals. Accordingly, it is not considered that there will be any effect on individuals’ right of access to justice through availability of legal aid or possible expenditure from the legal aid fund.
