We want your views on how to make legal aid simpler, easier and better for everyone.
Getting legal aid can be difficult. There are a lot of rules. It uses a system where a private legal professional must be found.
This gives choices. But it causes problems. People can find it hard to find a legal professional.
The new plan wants legal aid to:
- be simpler
- more flexible
- have less paperwork
- help people access legal services
- react quickly to legal needs.
