Oats production increases but remains below average
In 2024, oats yield is 6.6 tonnes per hectare, nearly reaching its highest value over the last 5 years.
Oats production is around 0.18 million tonnes. Production increases by 15% compared to 2023 due to increases in area (5%) and yield (9%).
While it is a good year for oat yield, area and production just fall short of the 5-year average.
