4 Overview of Respondents

4.1 Respondent Profiles

4.1.1 In total, 26 unique responses to the consultation were received, representing 25 organisations and 1 individual. A list of the organisational respondents is provided in Appendix A.

4.1.2 The analysis identified non-substantive responses such as ‘No comment’ and ‘N/A,’ these responses have been included in the total count for free-text question responses. However, the number of these non-substantive responses have been noted in the relevant sections of the analysis.

4.1.3 Of the 26 responses received, 17 were submitted via Citizen Space. 9 further responses were submitted to the Scottish Government via email, with 7 of these responses providing direct responses to each consultation question. The 2 remaining responses submitted via email did not specifically address the questions included in the consultation and have been included as a response to question 22 in the quantitative analysis. The contents of these 2 responses have been included in the analysis for the relevant free-text questions in sections 5 to 9.

4.1.4 Respondents from organisations have been assigned to respondent types and sectors as shown in Table 1 and Table 2. This enabled analysis of the types of organisations that responded to each consultation question. The assignment of organisations to a sector is provided in Appendix A.

4.2 Question Respondent Profiles

4.2.1 The respondent sub-type for each question is shown in Table 3 to Table 6 below. The multiple choice components of the responses to questions 1-4, 9, 14-15, and 21 are represented by Q1.1, Q2.1, Q3.1, Q4.1, Q9.1, Q14.1, Q15.1 and Q21.1 respectively. The free text components of the responses to these questions are represented by Q1.2, Q2.2, Q3.2, Q4.2, Q9.2, Q14.2, Q15.2 and Q21.2 respectively.
