Engagement was undertaken as part of the public consultation with two online sessions taking place during August and September 2025. Details of the events were advertised via consultation web pages and direct mailing.
The objectives of these events were to provide an overview of the Scottish MRF, the wider context in which it sits, and how stakeholders can help to shape the policy. The list of events and number of attendees (excluding staff from Scottish Government) is shown in Table 7. The events were attended by a range of individuals representing different sectors and organisations.
