MyCare.scot: national rollout - high-level summary
National rollout plan for MyCare.scot. This is a high level summary of the planned approach to the rollout of the health and social care online service.
Next steps
Once the necessary foundations are in place, using common scalable technology, we can build a sustainable service that is co-designed with users and offers consistent experience across Scotland. Guided by the experience in NHS Lanarkshire, we will scale and roll out across Scotland. At the same time, we will continually enhance the service. As more organisations are onboarded they will immediately benefit from the additional national features providing a consistent service. However, this is a journey, and there will be variation at a local level as services come online. For example, NHS Boards, in particular, will prioritise their services based on local need and digital maturity. However, we expect all national priority services to be enabled by the end of 2028.
