Taking forward the recommendations

Progress with the recommendations requires significant work on the part of multiple organisations and stakeholders. Reflecting this, the update contains links to sources of additional information relevant to progress with certain recommendations which should be helpful in understanding the wider work involved.

A number of recommendations are reflective of work underway prior to the publication of the Scottish Government’s response to the Grenfell Report but now in effect falling within scope of a recommendation.

It should also be noted that the method of delivery (through legislation, guidance, etc) as well as whether the issue is a reserved or devolved matter, will impact on the timescales for completion. Where these change in subsequent progress updates a reason for this change will be given.
