17.1. Evidence gathered: There is little information in relation to people from different religious backgrounds that can help us gain insight into the impacts on people who share this characteristic beyond the data available for the general population.

17.2. Effects/Impacts: There is no data currently available that suggests that any disproportionate effects will be felt by people of different religion or belief. People of different religious backgrounds will have the same opportunity to access advice and information about the Programme and will be assisted in every way to understand the reasoning behind the proposals, how it will benefit people and options open to them when looking at energy efficiency.
