2. What people thought about our plans for making leadership stronger

Leadership means guiding and supporting other people to work towards shared aims.

9 out of every 10 people said they agreed with our plans to make leadership stronger.

8 out of every 10 people agreed with our different levels of leadership.

Half the people who answered agreed that the Strategy has all the important parts of making strong leadership.

Some people said:

  • we need more training for leaders
  • we need a way to share the best ways of working with others across Scotland
  • leaders need to have many different lived experiences

Lived experience means the knowledge someone has because of the things they have experienced in their life.
