Equality and Human Rights Mainstreaming Strategy: consultation analysis - easy read

Easy read version of the independent analysis of our consultation on an Equality and Human Rights Mainstreaming Strategy.

7. What people thought about our plans to be able to do more

Being able to do more is also called capacity.

9 out of every 10 people agreed with our plans to get more money and staff so that equality and human rights can happen.

Some people said it was very important that there is enough:

  • time
  • money
  • staff

Some organisations were worried about being able to make sure equality and human rights were in all their work.

This is because they might not have enough money or staff.

Half the people who answered agreed that the Strategy has all the important parts of being able to do more.

Some people said there needs to be more:

  • working together
  • sharing good ways to work
  • use of local knowledge
