This document is part of a collection

Overview

This guidance is for people who are managing a workplace, organisation or premises (including transport operators). It provides advice on steps you can take to help reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 to create a safer environment.

The requirements that were in law have been removed. However, COVID-19 still remains a concern for public health so we strongly recommend you risk assess your premises and take sensible precautions and actions to reduce the risk of transmission.

We strongly recommend you:

This will help you to sustain operations while there is ongoing community transmission and lower the possibility of COVID-19 related absences or service cancellation. It will also help to reduce the risk across the wider community.

We recognise that there is no one size fits all model in creating more resilient premises and this will vary by sector, premises and business or organisational model.

As we move into this next phase, we will be working with businesses and organisations to identify how best they can adapt their premises, adjust their behaviours and enhance hygiene practices. We will seek to learn from businesses and organisations who have successfully made adaptations to how they operate and share best practice.

Sectoral specific guidance remains in place for some organisations.
