Common Agricultural Policy: beneficiary publication guidance
The guidance outlines the data protection principles and requirements for all parties involved in processing personal data to publish data of Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) scheme beneficiaries on the Scottish web site as already happens at present under the existing UK Scheme .
3. What Has to Be Published:
1. Beneficiary Identification – Business Reference Number (BRN) anonymised
- Full name of the beneficiary (natural or legal person).
- Exemption: If the total amount received was £1,114 (equivalent to €1,250) or less, the name is not published and replaced with a unique reference number.
2. Geographical Information
- Municipality of the beneficiary’s address, which was interpreted by Co-Body to be the “district” level of the post code.
3. Financial Details –
- Total amount of public funding received per beneficiary.
- Breakdown by fund:
- Pillar 1 Direct Payments
- Pillar 2 Scottish Rural Development Fund (SRDP)
- For Pillar 2: Measure under which the funding was granted.
