Consultation

The draft strategy consultation was held between 21 October 2025 and 13 January 2026 and received 190 responses from public sector, private sector, charitable and international organisations and individual respondents. It also received over 1200 campaign responses from Friends of the Earth Scotland.

The consultation was published on the Scottish Government website with respondents having the option of responding online via Citizen Space or by e-mail/hard copy response to the Circular Economy Strategy Unit.
