Children in Residential Care Statistics
Statistics on children in residential care using data from Scotland's Census 2022.
Religion
For both children in residential care and children in households, the most common response was that they had no religion. This proportion was higher in residential care settings (78%) than in households (62%; Figure 5). A lower proportion of children in residential care were Christian (9%) compared to households (26%).
