UEFA EURO 2028 Social Impact Programme for Scotland: child rights and wellbeing impact assessment - Easy Read version

Easy read version of the children's rights and wellbeing impact assessment (CRWIA) to identify an impact and legacy programme and wider positive impact activities aligned to EURO 2028 to be delivered in Scotland.

2. What does the information tell us?

The programme could be good for children’s rights and wellbeing if activities:

  • lead to more activity and better health
  • help mental wellbeing and social links
  • help everyone be included and take part in sport
  • make education better and help children develop
  • are safe and help children to have a say.

Not all children get enough physical activity. Some things make it harder to take part, like the cost of playing some sports.

Other programmes like this have helped children get active. A good programme might help more people have the chance to take part.
