Why a just transition is important
Land use and agriculture are part of our net zero goals. Land use includes planting trees and helping nature. Agriculture means farming. It has a key role to remove harmful gases out of the atmosphere.
Our land and the people who look after it give us food, energy, land and wood. These let us build homes and places people can go for exercise and leisure.
Moving to Net Zero will need us all to make big changes. It will not be easy. We will all have to help.
