What is a Just Transition and how will it support people?
Just transition is how we get to a net zero healthy environment in a fair way. Net zero means we remove the harmful gases we put into the atmosphere.
The goal is a fairer, greener future. Communities will be happy and healthy. People will have the skills and opportunity for good jobs. The country will have a strong and active economy.
We will work to deal with climate change. We will protect our natural environment. We will deal with issues like poverty and human rights.
We need to make changes for this to happen. We must work together. People who are affected by change must be involved and supported.
