9. Moving children safely (secure transport)

Sometimes children need safe travel, like going from a police station to court, moving into secure care, or going to an appointment while in secure care. Scotland is creating national standards to make sure transport is kind, respectful and safe. These new standards will include things like: staff must be trained, vehicles must be safe and suitable, everyone’s privacy should be protected, and any problems should be dealt with properly.

Question about transport (Q29)

Q29. Do the areas suggested to be included in the secure transport standards cover what is needed, or is anything important missing?
