Analysis of consultation

1. The Scottish Government thanks all of the organisations which took the time to consider and respond to the proposals contained in the consultation paper on court fees.

2. The Scottish Government acknowledges that this response is being published subsequent to the making of the relevant instruments. Notwithstanding this timing, all consultation responses were rigorously assessed and fully taken into account throughout the development of the policy. The issues, evidence, and representations submitted during the consultation process materially informed the final approach adopted, and due regard was given to all views expressed prior to the instruments being finalised.
