We will continue to work with organisations who have relationships with, and have developed a position of trust among their audiences (trusted messengers) and organisations we fund to ensure engagement with children is as effective as possible. We have commissioned research from ClimateXChange to look at what engagement is taking place across Scotland and identify gaps in supporting and engaging children and young people. The Scottish Government will look to address those gaps through the refresh of the Public Engagement Strategy and associated Delivery Plan.
