Councillors' remuneration and expenses: recommendations
Scottish Local Authorities Remuneration Committee (SLARC) was reconvened in April 2023 to undertake an independent review of councillor remuneration, having last reported in 2011.
An errata was published on 7th of March 2025 as a result of changes on PDF pages 2, costings in relation to Local government budget, page 42 costings of additional senior councillors and to Table 5 costings of additional senior councillors. The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.
