Healthcare Associated Infection strategy - second phase deliverables impact assessment: progress report - March 2025

Progress report documenting the work progressed and completed to drive the successful delivery of the Healthcare Associated Infection (HCAI) strategy.

4. Consultation

4.1. Public consultation

The HCAI Strategy is an interim strategy and focused on the establishment of a robust national policy framework aimed at addressing HCAIs across Scotland. The primary audience for the strategy are the delivery partners within the health and social care landscape. Therefore, we did not conduct or identify any need for a public consultation as part of the development of our HCAI Strategy or Progress Report.

4.2. Business/Third Sector

The strategy’s progress was reviewed in line with the deliverables, none of which have demonstrated an impact on businesses or the third sector.
