Healthcare Associated Infection strategy - second phase deliverables impact assessment: progress report - March 2025
Progress report documenting the work progressed and completed to drive the successful delivery of the Healthcare Associated Infection (HCAI) strategy.
9. Conclusion
The Scottish Government has thoroughly analysed and assessed the available data. At this stage, deliverables a, c and d will require a full EQIA which will be completed prior to and support the development of each of the deliverables. The EQIA screening for deliverable e will be revisited at the earliest opportunity when the scope of the deliverable is further developed. It has been determined that deliverable b does not require an EQIA for the activity involved in this deliverable.
Deliverables c and d will require a full ICIA which will be completed prior to and support the development of each of the deliverables. The screening questions for deliverables a and e will be reviewed when the scope of these two deliverables are further developed.
The screening process has confirmed that deliverables a, b, c, and d do not require a FSDIA or BRIA. Once the plans for deliverable e are further developed, the screening process for BRIA and FSDIA will be completed.
At this stage, there are no findings from impact screenings that would prevent these deliverables from being further considered and developed. This will be closely monitored and reviewed once the planning for each deliverable has commenced.
