Miscarriage care: patient charter
The patient charter for miscarriage care is a commitment to the miscarriage care you should receive from the NHS in Scotland. It is for both women and partners.
Assessment
- Contact details and opening hours of your nearest EPU can be found on NHS inform.
- Other healthcare services will direct you to your nearest EPU/EPAS for assessment and support.
- If your symptoms are getting worse quickly or you have other symptoms as well as pain and bleeding, your Emergency Department will assess you. You will be seen as soon as possible.
