Christine McLaughlin is Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Chief Executive, NHS Scotland at Scottish Government. She is responsible for delivering the strategic and operational objectives of ministers in delivering health and care services.
Biography
Christine has held several roles in Scottish Government, most recently as Co-Director of Population Heath, Director of Covid-19 Test and Protect and Director of Finance for Health and Care.
Christine began her career in the NHS, where she qualified as a chartered public finance accountant and has held senior finance roles in territorial and national boards. She has worked in management consulting roles with PwC, KPMG and Capgemini, working with public sector clients to deliver major financial transformation.
