Inflation Adjusted HMRC Regional Trade Statistics for Scotland Q1 2026

This report contains Scotland's trade in goods data from the latest release of HMRC's Regional Trade Statistics (RTS).


Destinations

The EU remains Scotland’s top destination, accounting for around 40% of the value of Scotland’s total goods exports. The USA is Scotland's second largest export market, worth £3.9 billion and accounting for 16% of Scotland's total goods exports.

The largest increases in goods exports in the last 12 months have been to Middle East and North Africa (up 20%) and Asia and Oceania (up 4%), the largest decreases have been to the EU (down 4%) and North America (down 7%).
