Energy performance certificates (EPCs) explain how energy efficient a building is and how it could be improved.

For EPC issues
You should contact the Energy Assessor if you have any concerns about an EPC. Their details will be listed on the EPC.
If you are unable to resolve the issue with the assessor, then it can be escalated to the assessor’s Approved Organisation (AO). The AO is listed in the top section of the EPC, underneath the date of certificate.

Every AO has its own complaints procedure, code of conduct, and disciplinary process, including escalating complaints to independent bodies.
