This child rights and wellbeing impact assessment (CRWIA) assesses the potential impact of the Violence Prevention Framework on children’s rights under the UNCRC and their wellbeing.
4. Which groups of children and young people will be affected?
Through specific actions of the Framework, the following groups of children and young people are affected:
Those most at risk of being affected by violence
Care experienced individuals
Children and young people in secondary schools across Scotland and from all backgrounds who have the opportunity to participate in any of the peer learning programmes that will be organised and/or delivered by SG funded violence prevention partners as part of framework delivery.
Children and young people who are the family of individuals who have been or are involved in violence as a perpetrator, victim or bystander/ witness.
