The Getting it right for every child (GIRFEC) continuum articulates the importance of GIRFEC in protecting children and making sure that all children receive the right help at the right time. The refresh of the Strategy is aimed at enhancing the measures of tackling human trafficking an exploitation in Scotland. It is taking into account developments in this area since the last strategy was published to improve the collective response of practitioners on the field.

11. How will you communicate to children and young people the impact that the proposal will have on their rights?

We intend to continue working with stakeholders who engage with children and young people as part of their core function. We work closely with these partners and have involved them in the development of the update to the Strategy.

A completed CRWIA will be checked for accessibility and published online so those wishing to access it can do so.
