Latest main findings for businesses with 10+ employees and a presence in Scotland
- in June 2025, over a third (35.3%) of businesses reported they had some form of concern about their supply chains over the next 12 months; international conflict was the top supply chain concern for businesses (reported by 21.7%)
- in June 2025, an estimated 38.3% of businesses were very or somewhat concerned about the impact of climate change on their business, down from 45.0% in March 2025
- in June 2025, over a third (34.6%) of businesses reported they had been impacted by severe weather events in the last 12 months
- in June 2025, an estimated 25.5% of businesses were using some form of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, with the Information & Communication sector having the highest share of businesses using some form of AI technology (48.5%)
- US tariffs had some impact on an estimated 9.0% of businesses in the last month, while 11.1% expected to be impacted next month
