Large businesses (250 or more employees) were more likely to be concerned about the impact of climate change on their business than small to medium-sized businesses (10 to 249 employees). An estimated 57.8% of large businesses were very or somewhat concerned, compared to 36.1% of small to medium-sized businesses.

In June 2025, businesses were also asked whether they had been impacted by any severe weather events in the last 12 months. Over a third (34.6%) of businesses reported that they had been impacted by severe weather events in the last year. An estimated 27.9% of businesses had been impacted by a storm in the last 12 months, which may be linked to Storm Eowyn which hit the UK in January 2025.
